Azalea is located in the historic Hotel Kirkwood Buliding on 4th & Walnut in downtown Des Moines.

We feature New Southern Cuisine with contemporary & inventive interpretations on traditional "southern" fare, be it through ingredients, recipes, or techniques. Our culinary team strives to bring you local and artisanal ingredients. Every dish is envisioned by Executive Chef Sean Wilson.

Azalea's wine program, winning Wine Spectator's 2009 "Award for Excellence," offers an extensive list with wines from around the world.

Our space includes an elevated dining area overlooking the lounge and main dining room; as well as a banquet space for parties from 20 to 200 people.
